Hilda Baci, whose real name is Hilda Effiong Bassey, was born on September 20, 1996, in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. She completed her early age education in Nigeria and obtained a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Madonna University, Okija. In which she did very well in her academics as she passes out of the university.

After completing her education, being a graduate already with good result Hilda decided to pursue her passion for cooking as inspired by her mother and started her career as a professional cook (Chef).

She started by preparing meals for her family and friends in the house, which she received rave reviews. This motivated her to start her catering business, which she named “Hilda’s Kitchen.” it was later renamed “My Food by Hilda“.

Hilda Baci embarked on a journey to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon from May 11 to May 14, 2023.

On May 14th, Hilda Baci breaks the record for the longest cooking by an individual with 100 hours, surpassing an Indian chef Lata Tondon with 87 hours and 45 minutes of uninterrupted cooking.

Hilda’s passion for cooking and her determination to break this record garnered a lot of attention and support from her fans and followers on social media. Many have been following her progress and cheering her on as she embarks on this challenging to break the world Guinness Record.

At this event, over 500 Nigerians and more supported her at the venue at Amore Gardens in Lekki, Lagos State, where they danced and listened to music to show her love and support.

The Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu, and other celebrities such as Tiwa Savage, Zubby Michael, Nonso Amadi and Charles Okocha were also present at the venue. Charles Okocha performed very well using his popular slogan “Phenomenal” which he used to praise her adorable First daughter. People chanted together with him in the phenomenal hymns.
